I started The Mortgage Exchange Service in 1995, and I've been personally lending since 1989. In that time I've seen every kind of market: the booms, the crashes, and everything in between. What hasn't changed is how I work: listen first, explain in plain English, and tell you the truth even when the truth is "don't do this loan."
I'm also a reverse mortgage specialist. About a third of the people who ask me about one shouldn't get one, and I tell them so. That honesty is why families come back to me for their second and third homes, and send their kids to me for their first.
